After all that trouble I went to to get my G8 buddies to follow my 11/14 plan to distract Greenspan by throwing him a lot of retirement parties so he can stop talking down the markets, this article puts him right back in everyone’s face!
The best quote in the article “It may sometimes be expedient for a man to heat the stove with his furniture. But he should not delude himself by believing that he has discovered a wonderful new method of heating his premises.” sums up Mr. Greenspan’s tenure at the fed quite nicely.
