It has been a slow and steady drop, rather than “whooshy” but the destination is the same. The S&P had a high on May 1 of 1415 and this morning’s low thus far was 1315. That’s a cool 100 points, or 7% in 13 sessions. Certainly in many individual stocks we have seem much more carnage than that.
