Suffice it to say that volatility has picked up tremendously. Monday there was a 33 S&P point drop from peak to trough. From the lows Tuesday til the highs yesterday was ~40 S&P points in a straight line. From the mid afternoon peak yesterday to the lows this morning was a 25 point drop. And then the index has just rallied 15 S&P points in an hour off today’s lows. That is over 110 S&P points of movement this week.
Do you know where the S&P is after all that? 2 points away from where it closed last Friday.
