Broadcom Ltd (NASDAQ: AVGO) shares rose 7.80 percent to $167.00 in pre-market trading after the company reported stronger-than-expected earnings for its second quarter on Thursday. The company also announced quarterly interim dividend of $0.50 per share.
Ariad Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARIA) rose 5.39 percent to $9.39 in pre-market trading after gaining 0.91 percent on Thursday.

Its total revenue for the four-week period ended May 28, 2016 was down 5 percent to $1.18 billion.
GoPro Inc (NASDAQ: GPRO) shares rose 3.17 percent to $11.06 in the pre-market trading session following Ambarella earnings results.

Zumiez reported a narrower-than-expected loss for its first quarter, but issued a weak forecast for the current quarter. The company’s comparable sales for the thirteen weeks ended April 30, 2016 dropped 7.5 percent, versus a 3.0 percent growth in the year-ago period.
