S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by 17 points at 2086.75 in Friday’s session. The weakness in the index from pre-market trading that was the result of a disappointing jobs number has continued into the regular session.
At this time, the index is attempting to stabilize in the area of Wednesday’s low (2083.25), with the current low standing at 2082.75.
All of the top 10 components of the index are in the red. Leading the way on the downside is JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM) shares which are trading lower by $2.16 at $63.65. It’s followed by Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC) shares which are trading lower by $1.32 at $49.78.
