In Bananas, one of the earliest and funniest of Woody Allen’s earlier, funnier films, there is a very amusing scene when Allen, as Fielding Mellish, joins a rebel army in the fictional Latin American country of San Marcos. At one point, he leads a party into town for supplies. He ends up in a takeout joint where he orders, among other things, coleslaw for 900 soldiers, which is brought back to camp in a seemingly endless parade of wheelbarrows.
That scene came to mind recently when I was considering the mounting evidence against El Caudillo del Mar-A-Lago in various courtrooms all across this great land of ours…
