California Democrat wants investigation of ‘financing’ behind pro-Palestinian demonstrations

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is calling for the FBI to investigate the “financing” behind some protests calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.
The former House Speaker discussed facing demonstrators outside her own home, and claimed they are spreading a message backed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, she said in an interview Sundaywith CNN’s Dana Bash on State of the Union.
“For them to call for a ceasefire is Mr. Putin’s message, Mr. Putin’s message. Make no mistake, this is directly connected to what he would like to see,” Pelosi said.
