Trump injured, rushed from stage after shooter fired on his Pennsylvania rally

The former president is safe after a bullet pierced his right ear, he said. The shooter and a spectator at the rally are dead, and two spectators were critically injured.
 
 

BUTLER, Pa. — Former President Donald Trump was rushed off the stage with blood on the side of his head and his ear after shots were fired just minutes into his rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Trump’s campaign said he was safe. He said in a post on Truth Social about 2½ hours later that a bullet “pierced the upper part of my right ear.”
