It has only been 4 months since our last review on Sept 1st.
That review was late and this one is early but I want to get into a more predictable schedule of every 6 months - so here we are. In the first half of 2024, we selected 41 positions and had 27 winners (65.8%) and 14 losers (34.2%) but the winners gained $199,671 and the losers were down $124,325 so we had a net gain of $75,346 in the first half and we were left with a MASSIVE upside potential of $687,565 so we'll start this review by seeing how many of those "losers" turned around in the 2nd half of the year.

- JACK - Actually got worse. We had a net $1,750 credit but we got assigned 1,500 shares of JACK at $55 ($82,500) but the $29,800 worth of short calls we sold expired worthless so it's net $52,700 or $35.13/share and we're actually up a little bit for a $12,000 turnaround! As an adjustment here, I would just sell 15 Oct $40 calls for $6.50 ($9,750) because I'm worried about the fires' effect on their business but happy to sell puts if they head lower and go on sale if people over-react.
